Josh Beasley was born September 13, 1942 to Anderson and Ella Beasley in Shaw, Mississippi.  He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Sunflower, Mississippi.  Josh relocated to Lansing, Michigan, where he met and married Johnnie Mae Jackson. Josh was a Retiree of Motor Wheel Corporation, where he worked for 25 years.

Josh departed this life April 26, 2017.  He was preceded in death by: his parents; four brothers; and two sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Josh Duwayne Beasley; one daughter, Pamela Hill both of Lansing, Michigan; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Roosevelt (Pauline) Beasley of Lansing, Mason (Vivian) Beasley of East Lansing, Michigan; three sisters, Luvenia Echols of Bellwood, Illinois, Eloise Beasley of Chicago, Illinois and Annie B. Clinton of South Holland, Illinois; special friend and her daughter, Marva Britton and Tara; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
