John "Jack" Frederick, 88, of Mason died on February 13, 2014 at Eaton Community Palliative Care in Charlotte. He was a caring and loving man who was loved and respected by his family and friends. Born in Windsor, Ontario he was the son of the late Russell and Dorothy Frederick. He retired from Dart Container Corporation in 1987. He was a veteran of both the Royal Canadian Air Force and United States Air Force. In his free time he enjoyed golfing and fishing. Surviving are his wife, Madeline Frederick; daughters, Lynda Consiglio and Christine (Gary) Zenker; son, Gerald (Michiko) Frederick; grandsons, John (Amanda) Frederick and Alex Frederick; granddaughters, Kristin (Matt) Shutes; Michelle Consiglio; Melissa Jones; and Karen Jones; and great-grandchildren, Jessica and Kelly Frederick; Matthew, Christopher, Aiden, and Addison Shutes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Art, Roy, and Richard Frederick. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Frederick and Patricia Lake.
