Mr. Joe Edward Miles, Jr, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2023 at McLaren Greater Lansing hospital with loved ones by his side. Mr. Miles was 79 years old.

Mr. Joe Miles was born June 26, 1943 in Detroit, MI to Joe Edward Miles and Mary Elizabeth Moore.  He graduated from Southwest High school in Detroit MI. Also, Joe attended the U S Army Southeastern Signal School and the United States Armed Forces Institute in Madison Wisconsin.

Mr. Joe Miles worked for GM over 35 years and he was a supervisor over the team that built the 1984 Buick Reatta.  He knew his cars.

Joe loved people and he never met a stranger. He was a great storyteller and his favorite movies was Chinese movies with subtitles, because he couldn't understand a word they were saying.

Joe was an honorary member of God's Dynamic Ministries COGIC under the leadership of Bishop Aaron Isaiah Milton, Senior Pastor and Shepherdess Kendra Milton, Pastor. He was a great supporter to the ministry.

Mr. Joe Miles, Jr.  was proceeded in death by: his two children, his daughter, Algenda Miles; his son, Wayne Deon Miles; parents, Joe Edward Miles and Mary Elizabeth Moore; siblings, Nathanial, Margie, Glen, and Dennis Miles.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife for over 30 years, Martha Mae Duncan-Miles; his brothers, Terry (Lisa) Duncan, Willie Fred Duncan, Jr, Clarence Duncan. Jerry and Larry Miles; his sisters, Velvely Ann (Thomas) Douglas, Yvonne (Larry) Casssels and Eddie Mae Miles-Dixon; his daughters, Celisa Rogers, Shepherdess Kendra Milton, Nakia Davis and Erika Miles; his grandchildren, Martha Rogers, MaLinda Milton, Kenya (Tyquan) Hammock, Quincey Thomas, Daymeia House, Malique Rogers, Rosa Evans and Amber Davis; great grandchildren, Keith Harthwell II, Jayden Thomas, Jordan, and Jaymar Autry. As well as many special nieces, nephews, and friends. Everyone was someone to Joe!
