Jimmie Croley, age 74, passed away July 5th from complications due to melanoma of the lymph nodes. Jimmie passed away peacefully at his home in Holt while surrounded by his family. Jimmie was born August 14, 1943 to Daisy and John Croley in Hoopeston, Illinois.

Jimmie was preceded in death by: his parents and longtime friend, Bud Umbarger. Jimmie was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a carpenter.

Jimmie is survived by: his loving and devoted wife, Lois; son, Aaron of Mason; daughter, Denise (David) of Holt; grandsons, Daniel Croley of Holt, Caleb Croley of Mason and Travis Iler of Lansing; granddaughters, Kelsey and Alyssa Vincent of Holt; sister, Debbie (Mitch) McCain; brothers, Jerry and Johnny Croley; sisters in law, Janet (Don) Meade, Joan (Carl) Kreager, and Sharon Lininger of Lansing; and many nieces and nephews.

Jimmies' family would like to express their appreciation and give a heartfelt thank you to his caregivers, Dani, Amanda, Dawn, Josie, Charles, Lisa and Erika, who through their kindness and compassion, made Jimmies' final days peaceful.

As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Jimmie Croley on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 1 pm at the Masonic Temple, 2175 Hamilton Rd, Okemos, MI 48864, with a luncheon following at 2:00 p.m.
