Jeannine A. Mitchell lived a long and happy life. She peacefully passed away December 12 2018. Jeannine was born in Lansing Michigan, February 20th, 1929 to Donna (McKeon) Griswold & E.D.Middaugh, graduated in 1947 from Eastern High School, & attended LCC.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wm. D. Mitchell and her longtime companion George Ward. Her lively spirit, thoughtful heart and beautiful voice will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Jeannine is survived by her children Michael (Linda), Mary (Ken Feher), Kathleen (late husband Michael) Johnson, Julia (Thom Learmonth), Timothy (Susan Isler), and Patricia (Jon) Dennis. Her grandchildren Matthew, Adam, Paul, Kate, Ryan, Joanna, Leigh, Asa, Rachel and Elijah. Great-grandchildren Jameson, Ariana, and Lincoln. Sisters In Law, Patricia (Don) Metivier, Martha (Judy) Macre, JonAnn (John) Russell , along with a host of nephews and nieces.

Her many interests include music (Sweet Adelines) reading, crossword puzzles cooking, and volunteering at various places in the community.
