Janett Kay Cook was born June 25, 1949 in Carson City, Michigan to Garth and Josephine Cook.  Janett was a daughter, mother, grandmother, wife, and great friend to the masses.  Her life touched many individuals and at times changed lives.  Her hobbies were cooking and traveling with her family.  She loved working in the community and helping those who she could.  Janett Cook at age 67, passed away on August 19, 2016.  She is survived by: son, Tyrone Liggons Jr (Alicia); daughter, Mishae Liggons; granddaughters, Sophia and Cecelia; Eldon Liggons; and a host of many relatives and close friends.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 12:00pm at Riley Funeral Home, 426 West Saint Joseph Street, Lansing, Michigan.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Memories and condolences may be shared at www.rileyfuneralhome.com.
