James "Bull" Norris was born January 25, 1964 in Galveston, Texas to the late A.J. Norris and Ethel Norris.   James accepted Christ at a very young age at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church.

James was a very simple man, a man of few words; he was considered the "quiet twin".  He loved reading the Lansing State Journal and the Detroit News daily as well as watching and attending many different sporting events.  He also loved his nieces and nephews and would express his love by placing them all in a "Choke Hold", but they did not mind as they knew he had the best snacks in his room that he would share generously.

James was a graduate from J.W. Sexton High School and was a loyal and dedicated employee at Clean Team USA until his death. Prior to working at Clean Team USA, he worked as the Night Maintenance at Shop Rite for over 20 years until their closing.

James Norris went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 3, 2017. He was preceded in death by: his father, A.J. Norris; and grandmother, Theodoria Wilkerson.

James is survived by: his mother, Ethel Lee Norris;  eleven siblings including, Cassandria (Derrick)  Adams, his twin sister, Janet Norris, Undreal Norris, Vanessa Norris,  Moneke  (Marcus) Wourman, Letisha (Alvin) Holloway, Rochell Burke and Shanice Norris-Page;  brothers, Roy Norris, Bobby Johnson, Tracy (Cheryl) Norris; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
