Age 44, was born on January 12, 1969 in Kingston, Jamaica to Leonard and Gwendolyn Reid. She departed this life on May 4, 2013. Mrs Mason was a loyal employee at the Pines Health Care Center and was a faithful servant to God. She was preceded in death by: her father, Leonard Reid; grandparents, W.H. Gibbs and Vida White; mother-in-law, Jane Mason; and uncle, Ira Reid. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving and devoted husband, Herman Mason, Sr.; children, Herman, Jr., Justin, Tamara, and Amaya Mason; loving mother, Gwendolyn Reid; siblings, Frank (Coretta) Reid, Oral Reid, Michelle (Andrew) Henry, Charmaine Whitman, Simone Reid, and Marsha Gibbs; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Mason will lie in repose on Wednesday, May 15, 11 - 6 pm, at Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 16, 11:30 am at Mt. Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Road with Pastor Ross McElroy officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral
