Iva Ivy Louise Anderson was born July 8, 1938 to Julius Walter and Clara May Briggs in Loango, Alabama. Ivy later moved to Lansing, Michigan. Ivy Anderson proudly became a member of Mt. Olive Bible Believing Baptist Church in 1998, where she enjoyed worshiping and praising the Lord, under the leadership of Prophet Paul W. Garrett, Pastor. She was preceded in death by: husband, Reverend Willie C. Anderson, Jr.; son, Antonio Anderson; parents; and sister, Ollie Ruth Raymond. Ivy went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2012. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her children, Andre King of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Lillie E. Briggs (Michael Cole) and Willie C. Anderson, III, all of Lansing and Valorie Charmain Greasham of Hinesville, Georgia; grandchildren, Renee, Elisha and Gabriel Greasham all of Hinesville, Andre Jr., Damien and Kassem King, all of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Swizz Beats of Stone Mountain, Chantel and Courtney Cole, both of Lansing; brothers, Julius (Jean) Briggs of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Aldoph (Shirley) Briggs of Mansfield, Ohio, and J.C. Briggs of Lansing; sisters, Gladys Johnson of Washington D.C., Katenna Briggs and Ruby Nash, both of Lansing and many nieces, nephews and friends of Capital Commons Senior Complex.
