Ida Mae Lloyd was born on September 6, 1935 to Louisa and Luther Davis Sr. in Earl, Arkansas. On the morning of April 7, 2019, the lord sent an Angel down who whispered in her ear "well done good and faithful servant" and she went to rest.

Ida Mae and the family moved to Michigan in 1957. Not long after her move to Michigan, she met and married the love of her life, Richard Lloyd on June 14, 1959. To this union was born: Karen, Tony, Kim and their adopted daughter, B. Renee. Ida Mae was also a foster parent and housed many children in their time of need.

Ida Mae was active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for many years. She was an avid cook and you would often find her in the kitchen cooking up something good for all those she considered family.

Ida Mae was a devoted GM worker for 28 years and retired in 1998.

To say Ida bowled was and understatement. She was known to bowl on multiple leagues throughout the week. Ida Mae managed to get not only her children into bowling, but her sister, nieces and nephews interested in the sport. She went across the country and attended many bowling tournaments with her sisters.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Richard Lloyd; daughter, Kimberly; mother, Louisa Davis; father, Luther Davis Sr.; brother, Aruther L. Bridgewater; sister, Earlene Green; nephews, Eric Davis and Keith Bradley; and niece, Lisa Davis.

Ida leaves to cherish her loving memory: son, Anthony Lloyd; daughters, Karen Lloyd-Morris, Bridgett (Sam) Clark, and Shirley (Ed) Williams; grandchildren, Anitress Morris, Antwain (Ashley) Morris, and Alyssa Morris; sisters, Lucy Davis, Gertrude Brown, Artheriene Bradley, Maxzene Davis, Mildred Porter, and Pearline (Ted) Mason; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family .

Mrs. Ida Mae Lloyd will lie in repose on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 12-7 pm at Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph St. Lansing, MI 48933. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm. Service for Mrs. Ida Mae Lloyd will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11 am at Mt. Zion All Nations Bible Church, 10575 Krepps Rd, Dewitt, MI 48820 .
