Age 85, was a resident of East Lansing for 41 years. Hubert worked as a Food Service Director at the State of Michigan, Department of Corrections in Ionia and Grass Lake, MI. Survivors include his wife, Sallie; daughter, Zena; sons, Kenneth, Gregory, and Dameon; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Sallie Williamson; other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Mr. Flanders Friday, March 22, 12 - 9 pm, at the Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 3:30 pm at Friendship Baptist Church, 2912 Pleasant Grove Rd. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the funeral.
