Henry Benjamin Smith was born January 28, 1964 to Franklin Veto Smith and Henry Mary Bullard, in Detroit, Michigan.

Henry attended Highland Park High School

Throughout his life he worked for Amway, Federal Express, and Culligan. Henry loved the Lord, his children, and family. In his free time, he enjoyed singing and preaching. He also enjoyed dancing. He loved cooking. he attended Pennway Church of God and was going to be an usher, but was unable to accept a position.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Franklin Veto and Mary Bullard; his step parents, James Bullard and Ossie Mae Smith; his sister, Vivette Smith; and his brothers, David Smith and Michael Smith.

He leave to cherish his memory: his children, Marcia Smith, Marie Smith, Alicia Merritt, Kemiya Smith, Henry Smith Jr., Emanuel Smith, Ayla Smith, DaNaya Smith; step children, Kyle and Koriana; grandchildren, Deshawn, martavis, Caleb, and Kaiden; great grandchild, Martavis Jr.; ex-wife, Ramona Smith; siblings, Angelo Smith, Frank (Donetta) Smith, LaFreda (Leonard) Hinton-Smith, Tameka Smith, Elijah Willis, Marcia Willis James, Antonia Willis, Keean Willis, Kelly (Keith) Willis, Kira (Dwight) Bryant, Kamron (Rosetta) Elder; fiance, Kanecha Williams; special friend, Lynn Merriett; and a host of family and friends.
