Ginette Mayes , 69 of Eaton Rapids Michigan passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 5, 2025 at Mclaren Hospital in Lansing, Michigan.

Ginette was born on September 19, 1955, she was one of seven siblings born to Douglas J. Denby and Idabell West.

On February 28, 1978 Ginette and Clinton E. Mayes married beginning 41 wonderful years together before the passing of Clinton on October 30, 2016.

She was a life long employee of Darb's Tavern and Eatery. "NETTY" as some would call her was tiny in statue but like they say dynamite comes in small packages. She sure could make her mark on someone. Her grandchildren were her world and she was blessed with her first great grandson, Eli Clinton. Ginette was such a kind, understanding, funny, fiesty strong-willed woman. She is so loved and will be greatly missed.

There will be private services for Mrs Mayes in the near future.
