We are sad to announce the passing of Gary S. Garner Jr. of Lansing, Michigan. He passed away at the age of 60 on Sunday, June 26th. Gary was preceded in death by: his father, Gary Garner Sr.; sister, Lynette Shock; step-father, Curtis Dunn; and uncle, William Rambo. He is survived by: his mother, Connie Garner-Dunn; an aunt, Marilyn Rambo; three children, Michael Garner (Morgan Garner), Blake Garner (Megan Barton-Garner), and Courtney Garner (Jalen Asperger); two grandchildren, Michael Garner and Maddie Garner; a sister, Juanita Lavalley; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gary enjoyed spending time outside playing volleyball, trail riding, camping, kayaking, and hunting. He always had a dog and loved training with them. Gary often frequented Fleetwood Diner and other Lansing businesses where he seemed to always make a friend or help someone in need.

A celebration of life in Gary's honor will be held at Royal Scot in Lansing, MI on Tuesday, July 5th from 5-8pm. The address for Royal Scot is 4722 W Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI 48906, we will celebrate in the banquet room.
