Felipe Pesina unexpectedly entered into rest on November 27, 2022. Felipe was born in Lansing, MI on March 28, 1987 to Susie (Pesina) Cornwell. He was a 2005 graduate of Potterville High School.

He took pride in his family and always helping others. He was a fundamental part in running Handy's Mexican Market; the family business that he helped his uncle maintain. Felipe had a passion for cars. He was a skillful mechanic and worked at Advance Auto as a commercial manager for many years. He then continued to exhibit his passion by being a member of "Outta Control Car Club" and accomplishing multiple custom lowriders. This passion came from the love and knowledge that was passed down to him at an early age from his beloved grandfather, Felipe Pesina, Jr., whom he was named after, and was preceded in death by as well as his beloved grandmother, Antonia Pesina and Richard Cornwell.

Felipe is survived by: his mother, Susie (Pesina) Cornwell of Vermontville; two brothers, Diego Pesina and Jason Basset both of Lansing; two aunts, Tina (Jamie) Montemayor, Virginia (Wayne) Winton; and an uncle, Daniel Pesina all of Lansing. Also surviving are many beloved cousins and friends.
