Obituary

Mrs. Fannie Mae Lloyd, age 85, peacefully went home to be with Lord on Sunday morning, August 18, 2013. She was born in Owassa, AL and raised in a family where caring and loving was a way of life. She met and married Cleo Lloyd, Sr. and was blessed with 7 children. They moved to Lansing in 1955. She was employed with the Ingham County Probate Court for 26 years, retiring in 1993. She was a devoted and respected member of Mount Zion All Nations Bible Church for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by: her son, Cleo Lloyd, Jr., brothers, Wilbert Lee, Sr., and Bob and Eddie Lee; sisters, Mary Quates and Nancy Crenshaw, granddaughter, Jamelah Davis, and nieces, Helen Duvall and Lisa Davis. She is survived by her husband, Cleo Lloyd, Sr.; sons, Eddie (Mayla) Lloyd, David (Patricia) Lloyd, Gregory (Tasha) Lloyd; daughters, Leeann (Johnny) Smith, Lillian Peterson and Betty Lloyd; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Lloyd will lie in repose Thursday, August 22, 9am " 9pm, at the Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph Street, Lansing. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 23, 1pm, at Mt. Zion All Nations Bible Church, 10575 S. Krepps Road, DeWitt, MI, with Pastor H. Levi McClendon, III officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
