Fair Lee Wilson (Kate Alexander) was born on March 20, 1933 to Harris & Bessie Gray Alexander in Okolona, Arkansas. She moved to Lansing at 17 years old.
She accepted the Lord at an early age in Okolona Arkansas. She worked for a janitorial service and was a homemaker. She loved fishing, cooking, enjoyed the Detroit Pistons and spending time with her family and friends. She played basketball in Arkansas School System and played softball in Lansing with her friends. She was a member of Day Star Church of God & Christ.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Wilson; daughter, Annette Alexander; 3 brothers, Willie, Harris Jr. and David Alexander; 2 sisters Ozie Mae King and Queen Esther Stephens.
She leaves to cherish her memory: sister Clara Beard; she will live forever in the hearts of her daughters, Linda Diane Swanson, Terre Sanders, Kay and Judy Alexander; sons, Joseph (Cynthia) Alexander and Robert Wilson, Jr.; special nephews, Herschel Milton, Melvin Stephens and Edward Stephens; nieces, Flo Beasley and Lisa Alexander; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 29th, 2-6pm; Funeral will be held Wednesday, June 30 at 11am with a family hour at 10am. The family is being served by Riley Funeral Home.
