Born March 9, 1947 to Betty and Ernest Spagnuolo in Lansing, MI. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1964 and fought in the Vietnam War. After returning to Michigan, he began working for General Motors where he worked until 1998.

Ernie was proceeded in death by his beloved wife of 33 years, Leatha in 2018. He leaves behind his siblings Achilles (Ruth), Delora, and Anna Spagnuolo. He spent many weekends riding in his car and touring the state with his 3 children Jobi (Todd) Schaeffer, Sharla (Michael) Peters, and Andrew Spagnuolo. Fond memories of drive in movies and loud music are shared by all. He enjoyed spending time and telling stories to his 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Ernie enjoyed fishing, watching sci-fi shows, and sporting events. He was a lifetime Spartan fan and longtime football season ticket holder. He had an everlasting bond with his Marine Brotherhood, Mike 3/7. They would always attend reunions with the 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Division, Mike Company every 2 years. Semper Fi.

There will be no services held for Mr. Ernest Spagnuolo.
