Ernest Daniel Davis Sr., age 67 of Lansing Michigan, passing was announced on March 3, 2023.

Ernest was born on December 7, 1955 to Ernest and Irene in San Diego, California. After serving in Army, he spent most of his life in San Diego. He also spent several years leaving in Pensacola, Florida then settled in Lansing, Michigan.

He was a proud and loving father to son, Ernest Jr., daughter, Monkela, and daughter-in-law, Danyelle. Ernest became a grandfather in 1994 when Ernest III was born. Then his family expanded to include more grandchildren, Savannah, Cameron, and William.

Ernest enjoyed playing softball, billiards, grilling, and spending time with family and friends.

Ernest was predeceased by: his parents; and siblings, Carolyn, Otis, and Leonard. He is survived by: his children; grandchildren; and siblings, Diane, Belinda, Sharon, Ylia, Sharae, and Kenneth.

A Celebration of Life for Ernest will be held at the VFW, 3104 W. St Joseph St. Lansing, MI. 48917 on Saturday March 11, 2023 at 2pm until 6pm.

There will be an additional memorial service in San Diego, California. Time, Place, and Date are to be determined.
