Emma Mae [Robinson] McLain was born on March 14, 1919 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Mr. Charles and Mrs. Cora Robinson.

Emma attended Bluefield County School (grandma said that going to school back then, was like little house on the prairie). After completing school, Emma worked as a caretaker taking care of her grandmother.

Emma and her family moved to Pittsburgh, PA around 1958 and in 1962.

Emma met the love of her life, Matthew McLain, and married in 1963 and enjoyed life together for over 50 years.

Emma helped raised many children in many states. Emma  was a reception at the family business. Emma also love to cook, love to dance (her and Matt was known to cut a rug), but most of all Emma loved her dogs.

We all know Emma Mae McLain didn't bit her tongue about nothing. Either you liked her or you didn't.

A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Emma McLain Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1 pm at Senior CommUnity Care of Michigan, 1921 E Miller Rd, Lansing, MI 48911 .
