ALL SERVICES WILL BE HELD MONDAY, JUNE 11, 2010 AT TRINITY AME CHURCH Visitation: 11:30 am - 12:3 0pm Family receiving friends: 12:30 - 1 pm Funeral: 1 pm E loise Delores Weezie Collins Hughes was born in Jackson, Mississippi on March 2, 1943 to Allen and Bernice Bowens Collins. She attended Lansing Public Schools. She was employed by Knapps Department Store, Owens Illinois Glass Factory and Provincial House South in Lansing, Michigan. Weezie loved to cook. She especially loved singing to Marvin Gaye. Eloise was preceded in death by: her parents, Allen and Bernice; sisters, Helen Quinn and Allene Collins and brother, Allen Collins, Jr. On June 3, 2012 Eloise Delores Collins Hughes went home to be with the Lord. She leaves to forever cherish her memory: her daughter, Angela Felice (Clarence) Collins-Davis of Muskegon, Michigan and her son, Allen Lamont Collins, of Lansing; a very special granddaughter, Elizabeth Pooh Davis of Kalamazoo, Michigan; sister, Debra Renee Benson of Southfield, Michigan; an uncle, Tommie (Elma) Johnson; a very special nephew Jeffrey Kilpatrick; brother in-law, George Mask; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends that caused Eloise to glow whenever she saw them; and her spirtual sister Mrs. Joann Mondy.
