Elnora Cole was born December 4, 1948 in Doddsville, Mississippi to Roosevelt and Minnie Carson. At an early age, Elnora and the family moved to Indiana where she attended Public Schools. She graduated from Roosevelt High in Gary, Indiana. Elnora later moved to Lansing, Michigan and was employed with General Motors, for a number of years. Elnora was a very loving, caring and thoughtful person; always just a phone call away. She enjoyed her family, fishing, traveling, visiting the casinos, and watching the television show, M.A.S.H. Elnora was preceded in death by: her parents, Minnie and Roosevelt Carson, Sr.; brothers, Henry Man Allen and William Carson Carthen; and sisters, Esther Carpenter, Laura Carson Wallace, and Mary Cookie Lewis. Elnora passed away on January 29, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Willie Cole; step-children, Felicia Moore, Tommy Cole, Willie Cole, Jr., Frankie Cole, Shirley Cole, and William Leo Cole; brothers, Roosevelt (Sheila) Carson, Jr., James Carson Carthen, and Pierre Carson Carthen; sister, Minnie Carthagen; aunts, Lucille Brown, Luella Wade, Dortha Smith, and Irene Webster; uncle, Charles (Denise) Holt; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
