Edward A. Moore, Jr. was born February 15, 1926 in Lansing, Michigan to Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Frances Moore. He attended Old Central High School in Lansing. He was a World War II Navy veteran and was Honorably Discharged in 1946. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Harris on December 21, 1957 and to this union, two sons were born, Calvin and Darryl . Edward was a loyal employee of Motor Wheel and retired from General Motors in 1990. Edward was a good man with a sweet nature, who loved his family. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and family get-togethers, especially cookouts with friends and playing cards. He was preceded in death by: his loving parents and step-daughter, Jacqueline Campbell. On March 9, 2012, Edward Moore, Junior , as he was lovingly called, left his earthly home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 54 years, Elizabeth; children, Michael of Bay City, Michigan, Cheryl, Calvin and Darryl, all of Lansing; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Leggions; goddaughter, Lynette (Donell) McClure; sister-in-law, Oteria Harris; brother-in-law, Freddie (Georcie) Harris; cousins, Willie (Annabelle) Campbell and Robert Campbell, both of Lansing, Frances Patton of Michigan City, Indiana, Alvin Bethany of Sheridan, Michigan; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including long-time friends, Walter Brown and Michael and Cheryls mother, Gloria King. He touched so many lives with his loving spirit. He will be truly missed.
