Edward Beasley was born on February 10, 1941, to Anderson and Edna Beasley in Memphis, Tennessee. He moved to Lansing when he was 17 years old.
He accepted the Lord at a young age in Memphis, Tennessee. He worked at Westside Deli in Frandor and worked as a certified chef at Kelly's Downtown in Lansing, Michigan. He enjoyed going on cruises with his wife, going to the casino and cooking. He was a member of Day Star Church of God in Christ.
He was preceded in death by: father, Anderson (Essie) Beasley; mother, Edna (Alfred) Agness; son, Darwayne Gibbs; daughter, LaTanya Stephens; brothers, Earnest Beasley, Lee White, and Thomas White.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Flo Beasley; daughter, Yeisha Beasley; son, Michael Cotton; sisters, Bobby Brooks, Betty Agness of Memphis Tennessee, and Delores Garrison of Dayton Ohio; uncles, Roosevelt (Pauline) Beasley and Mason Beasley of Lansing, Michigan; special friends, Herschel Milton, Joe Alexander, and Earnest Beasley, Jr.; special daughter-in-law, Vicki Gibbs; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
