On January 8, 2022 at 7:55 p.m., our Aunt, Ms. Dorothy Myrtle Williams who was a strong 82 years of age, earned her wings. She was stern in her own ways: (Everyone that knew her knows…) Aunt Myrtle always expressed the importance of family sticking together!

As our parents went on, she'd stress – she was the only one remaining to nurture her siblings, children, and grandchildren. And boy, did she have her special way.

Myrtle was preceded in death by: her son, Levi (Brocky) Williams; parents, Arvell and Corine Williams I; sister, Essie Kate Brunson; brother, Arvell (Mary) Williams II; sister, Beula Pearl (Arnold) Boggs; nephew-in-law, Levis Morgan and Richard Turner; nieces, Doris Williams, Joyce Peppers, Denice Williams; nephew, Curtis Williams; great nephew, Jerome Morgan.

She leave behind to cherish her memories: brother-in-law, Robert L. Brunson; six nieces, Christine Morgan, Ruby (Terri) Brown, Karra Ann Turner, Brenda Jean Gibbs, Ophelia (Gary) Peppers, Theresa (Doug) Smith; niece-in-law, Pam Williams; five nephews, Johnnie (Mary) Brown, John (Linda) Brown, Royal (Roy) Brunson, Arvell Williams III, Sean Brunson; a host of great nieces and nephews; great great grand nieces and nephews; and great great great nieces and nephews.

The first generation as we know it passed on the 8 ^th of January, 2022. The last of our second generation have already passed on, this now leaves the third generation to carry our Williams family legacy: Christine, Johnnie, Terri, Karra, Brenda, John, Ophelia, Theresa, Roy, Arvell (Jr.), Sean; along with very special friend, Neubert Van Arsdale, close friend Annie Pearl Robinson, Wylean Bryant and many others.
