Obituary

Dorothy Mae Reeves (affectionately known as "Dothie") was born June 27, 1936 in Wrightsville, Arkansas to Edgar Loring and Julia Anderson. Later she moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas where she met and united in marriage to Robert Reeves. To their union four children were born. Together they relocated to Lansing, Michigan in 1961 to raise their lovely family. Dorothy completed high school and later became an employee at General Motors (Oldsmobile) in which she retired after many years of service. She enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, and being in her garden and cooking. Dorothy confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. For forty two years she was an active and longtime member of the Shiloah Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Climmie Hughes. While attending Shiloah Baptist Church, she was a member of the Usher Board, Pastor's Aide, Mass Choir and many other committees and auxiliaries. Dorothy loved Shiloah and her church family deeply.
