Dorothy Mae Hamm "Jeanie" age 86, passed February 28, 2021. She was a resident of Lansing for over 70 years. She retired from GM after 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Lillian Mae Hamilton; sons, Larry Hamilton and Harvey Summers, Jr.; brother, Lavon "Dewey" (Marion) Hamilton.

Dorothy is survived by: daughter, Diane Hamilton; grandchildren, Renia Hamilton, Larry Hamilton, Latasha Horton, Courtney Cooks, Russell Washington, Harvey Summers III; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Lester "L.C." (Olivia) Hamilton of Reidsville, North Carolina; cousin "sister," Barbara Baker-Roberts; special friend, Dorothy Hurd; cousins, Anthony Horton, and Donna Fields; along with other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.
