Donald Ray Terrell, was born to the union of the late Charles Terrell, Sr. and Leola Caine Terrell in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on March 26, 1953.
He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and received his education from East Baton Rouge Parish Public School. He entered the ROTC and later moved to California.
During his journey, he traveled to Lansing, Michigan and became employed by the City.
He was a man of stature and was known to be a very meticulously well-dressed man. As a family role model for many he will truly be missed. He made the party at family events and always encouraged unity and love. His nieces and nephews referred to him as "Unk-Dad" and "Uncle Donnie" for he always stepped up as a father figure and protector.
Donald departed this life on August 24, 2021 at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by: brother, Charles Andrew Terrell, Jr. and eight other siblings.
He is survived by: Soulmate, Elaine Beard; his children, Donelle White-Terrell, Kanisha (Derrick) Beard-Pops, Kisha Beard and Calvin (Nicole) Beard of Lansing, MI; ten grandchildren, Shaunte Baker Jr, A'Darius Beard, Richard Williams, Devin Scott, Darnell Hill, Carlos Sheppard, Toran Blackwell, Darvarrie Lavender, Donelle White Jr, D'Anee White; and two great grandchildren, Kinsley Davis and Adonis Baker; four sisters, Naomi Jackson, Linda Beauchamp-Campbell, Diane Terrell and Rochelle Terrell; brother, Rochester Terrell; aunts, Emily Marshall and Sally Robinson of Baton Rouge; and a host of special nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
