Princess Destiney Fay Clark was born June 26, 2001 in Lansing, Michigan. She was the daughter of April Baker and Darrell Clark, Jr. She was a very happy child. It didnt take much to put a smile on her face. She was a fighter. She beat all the odds. She went through more than any child her age should go through and still fought. She loved attention, especially when you would cuddle with her. He favorite song was I Hope You Dance by Lee Anne Womack. Destineys favorite colors where pink, purple, and orange. Her favorite food was pumpkin pie. Her nickname when she was born was Half Pint , given by her Uncle Denis because she was so tiny. She was preceded in death by: her uncle, Denis Sickles; aunt, Jennifer McClain; great -grandmother, Kay Dexter; and grandfather, Darrell Clark, Sr. Princess Destiney went home to be with the Lord September 8, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, April Baker; two brothers, Tyler Frank and Xavier Watts; step-father, Robert Watts; step-sister, Brianna Chapmen; father, Darrell Clark, Jr.; step-mother, Kristen Nelson; brother, Brendon Ryan; two sisters, Kaylie and Briar; grandparents, Lorie Nana Warner, Mark Warner, Marshall Baker, Teresa Baker, Beth Baker and Scott Baker; great-grandparents, Alfred Dexter, Sr., Edna Dexter, Karen Abney and Mary Baker; aunts, Patricia Sickles, Tina Geller, Bessie Snider, Carey Clark, April Clark; uncle, Alfred Dexter, Jr.; a host of cousins, other family members, and friends including her faithful nurses, Kristen Stark, Caren Freed, and Sally. Services for Destiney will be held Friday, September 13, 1pm, at the Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph, Lansing with Pastor Aaron Milton officiating. Friends may visit Destiney and the family from 11:30 until the start of the funeral at 1pm.
