Desirae "Des" Lachelle Hodges was born on August 12, 1980, to Gail Hodges and Dennis Morrow.

Desirae was a loving daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She will be greatly missed by those she met even once.

She passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by: her grandfather, Harold Penzien; and uncle, Daniel Penzien.

She is survived by: her daughter, Alexis Hodges of 22 years; mother, Gail Hodges; grandmother, Edith Penzien; brothers, Brice Penzien, Dennis Morrow, Eron Morrow, and DeShawn Morrow; aunt, Anna Hoffman; sister-in-law, Jamie Morrow; cousins, other relatives and friends.
