Delores Jean Harvey was born on January 18, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Lola and Wilson Chambers.

She was a dedicated individual who touched the lives of many through her work and her love for her family. She attended Jones High School and later embarked on a fulfilling career, serving the Lansing School District with passion and dedication until her retirement. She also found joy and purpose as a home caregiver and foster parent demonstrating her compassion and selflessness to those in need.

Delores was known for her love of family and friends. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, creating lasting memories through shared laughter and love.

Delores was preceded in death by: her son, Anthony Harvey; sister, Dorothy Withers; and brothers, Wilson Chambers Sr., James E. Chambers, and Michael L. Robenson.

She is survived by: her son, Sidney Harvey Jr.; daughter, Shaquille Harvey; sisters, Bertha Chambers, Shirley (Edward) Williams, and Diane Walker; as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Delores Jean Harvey will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and inspired.
