In celebration of Debra Dean Smith (Greer) born to the union of Eugene Greer and Gloria Declu Greer on August 4, 1954 in Lansing, MI. She attended West Junior High School. Debra was always the life of the party type of gal. She later became a member at Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Graves and sang in the choir. She married Leonard Smith on November 20, 1993 and relocated to Tucson, Arizona. She was an awesome cook (whew…Them greens and chicken & dumplings!) she used to throw down in the kitchen.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her three children, Marcel Greer, Jackie Greer, Gloria (Renee) Greer of Lansing; grandchildren, Demetrius, Dakari, Mickeal, Trayyeon, and Carl Jr.; great grandchildren, DeVonte, Aiden, Summer and Malaysia; sisters, Kay (Cathy/Jerome) Berry, Carolyn (ToWee) Greer, Chyntra Gardner, and Brother Traindos (Cheede/Lynette) Greer Sr.; special nieces, Cherish, Charma, Saretha all of Lansing, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; special sister-in-law, Carlas Austin of Jonesboro, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by: mother, gloria D. Greer; father, Eugene Greer; brothers, Kevin Greer Sr. and Bernard Greer Sr.; great grandson, baby Malachi Hooper.
