Mrs. Debra Jay Pickens-Parks, age 62, of DeWitt, Michigan, died quietly on Sunday May 14, 2017 at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on October 4, 1954 in Lake Odessa, Michigan, the daughter of Arlo and Peg Pickens.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Gary; her three beloved cats, P.C., Obie and Callie; sisters, Sue and Nannette; brothers, Scott and Steve.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peg and Arlo; brother Arlo, Jr.

As per Deb's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral services are planned for Mrs. Debra Jay Parks.

A gathering of family members to celebrate Debra's life will take place at a later date.

In a lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Capital Area Humane Society in Lansing, Michigan.
