Dawn Barnum, a funny, loving, and kind woman, passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 13, 2024. She was born on September 26, 1954 to the late Minor and Margaret Barnum (Draher).

Dawn was out spoken and always the life of the party, making friends anywhere she went. There was never a dull moment with her. She enjoyed life and always devoted her time to being a great mother. She ran a daycare for many years, and eventually moved on to bus driving for Dean Transportation and CATA. Years later when her children had children of their own she retired from CATA and dedicated her time to her grandkids. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking wonderful meals for her family every night, and baking new treats every week.

Dawn was preceded in death by: her grandson, Marcus; her parents, Minor and Margaret Barnum; three brothers, Emerson Barnum, Larry Barnum, and Ron Barnum; one sister, Dorothy Barnum. She leaves to cherish her memory: children, Mindy Cook and Dawn Cook; grandchildren, Markuice, Makyla, Kayleigh, Kaedon, Marrion, Amira; great grandchildren, Eliyanna and Noemiy; along with a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
