David Marcos Ray was born on August 28, 1984 in Lansing, Michigan. He lived in Lansing most of his life until he moved to Ionia, Michigan, to start a new life. While living in Ionia, he worked at Herbruck Poultry Ranch. He enjoyed doing yard work, helping others, and eating Chinese food. He was a devoted family man and he enjoyed watching wrestling, making money, listening to rap and Spanish music. Most of all, he enjoyed joking around and just being himself. The people of Ionia will remember David for always being so helpful in the community. David was preceded in death by: his daughter, Breanna Hope Ray; grandmother, Adeline Claudio; nephew, Jakobe Claudio and special cousin, Kristy Ann. He went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2012. He leaves behind: his most treasured possessions, his children, David, Jr., Marlania, Marcos, and Isabella; mother, Miriam Claudio-Alejo; sister, Kristina Cordova, Jasmin Claudio, and Augustina Alejo; brothers, Tony Espinosa and Eric Claudio; grandfather, Marcos Claudio; fiance, Amber Ferris; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. David was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed by all the hearts he touched. Lets remember David for his smile and his generous offerings. Friends may visit Mr. David Ray on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 9-11am at Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 1, 2012 at 12pm at Riley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
