David Edward Pierce, of Lansing, passed away at the age of 80, on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

Dave was born in Perry, MI on March 3, 1943 to Byron and Jean Pierce. He graduation from Perry High School.

He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany and worked for General motors as a mill wright, retiring after 30 years. He enjoyed working in his yard and was active in the Tri-County Bicycle Association, and DALMAC, riding to the Mackinaw Bridge several times. David and his wife, Chris, were longtime ride coordinators. He resided for many years at Horsehead Lake in Mecosta and hosted family get togethers and numerous pontoon rides and campfires. He was a good many who will be missed...fly high with the angels Dave.

He is survived by: his wife, Christine Harrison; sons, Jason Pierce (Taryn) and Mark; daughter, Kris Lee (Mike; and five grandchildren. Preceding him in death were: his parents; brother, Gerald; and sisters, Jean Barton and Sue Mills.
