David Louis Duerson was born the fourth of five children on August 2, 1937 to the late Mansfield and Annie Lee Duerson in Elkton, Kentucky. David moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, with his family. He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. David was a United States Army Veteran. David joined in Holy Matrimony to Eloise Moore. To that union two children were born, David and Shaun Duerson. David and family moved to Lansing, Michigan. He worked for General Motors, Fisher Body Division. He retired from the company, with honors, after thirty-five years of faithful service. Mr. David Louis Duerson went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2013. Mr. Duerson leaves to cherish his memory: his children, David D. Duerson and Shaun S. Radford, both of Indianapolis; four grandsons, Chris (Erica) Duerson, Branda Duerson, Derane Duerson, and Cedric Duerson, all of Indianapolis; two great-granddaughters, Eniyra Duerson and Reen Duerson, both of Indianapolis; ex-wife Eloise Duerson; step-children, Tony Moore, Sheila Merriweather; and other relatives and friends.
