David Diaz was born on May 27, 1963 to Margarito and Hope Diaz, the seventh child out of twelve children.

David worked for the state of Michigan for 33 years as general trades for capital. He was a family man with a heart full of gold and loved to spend his spare time with his family, which always came first. He enjoyed playing cards, riding bicycles, disc golfing and just cruising around. He loved the Detroit Redwings and was able to attend quite a few games with his children and grandchildren. He definitely touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

David went to be with our lord on May 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by: his father, Margarito.  He is survived by: his wife, Kim; children, Tiffany (Justin), Tabitha (Mike), David (Stacey), Kayle (Gabriel), Ashley (Willie); grandchildren, Jayden, Gavin, Josiah, Jennavecia, Cataleya, Aniyah, Leonardo, David, and Eliana; his mother, Hope; 11 siblings, Barbara (Jose), Jack, Tom, J.D., Tim, Kathy (Jerry), Danny (Cindy), Mark, Otto (Theresa), Melinda (Leon), Birdie (Estaban); 26 nieces and nephews; 37 great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
