It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Daniel John Hoffman. He was 21 years old.

Dan loved and was loved.

Dan was born in New York City and grew up in Lansing, Michigan, the 8th of 12 children. He was a graduate of East Lansing High School (2016) and had been a student at Lansing Community College and Michigan State University.

Dan was a beautiful soul who taught us all to live fully and love deeply. He was a gifted artist, a great listener, and a wise and compassionate friend. He will be sorely missed.

Dan leaves behind: his parents, Peter and Renee Hoffman; five brothers, Josh (Angie), Isaiah (Elaine), Nate, Elijah and Jack; six sisters, Mimi, Charity (Matt), Abbey (Dan), Hannah (George), Libby and Paulina; along with five nephews; a niece; and his devoted girlfriend, Magdalena; countless aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmother and friends also mourn Dan's loss.

In memory of Dan,  please take a moment to call a friend, hug a loved one, take a walk, breathe deeply, or enjoy a sunset. We will miss doing those things with him.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 16, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Liberty Christian Church, 2215 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI.

Funeral will be at University Reform Church, 841 Timberlane St, East Lansing, MI 48823, at 11am on Friday, May 17.
