Crystal Dionntra Vaughn was born on July 15, 1983 to Deborah Autrey Carter and Willis Vaughn, Jr. in Lansing, Michigan; and, was taken to eternal rest on October 8, 2019.

Crystal was a very friendly and loving people person who was loved by all. Her smile could light up any room. Crystal loved to read, loved kids, and was an avid Mickey Mouse character collector. But, most of all, Crystal loved her children, Andrew, Ayden and Heaven.

Crystal attended Waverly High School and Lansing Community College Lansing, Michigan. Crystal was a graduate of Kaplan University. She had been employed by Evolve, Mouthpiece Communications, and many more. Crystal was a great customer service representative! Crystal was a member of New Directions Healing Ministries in Lansing.

Crystal was loved deeply by her family and friends, and had a way of building very special relationships with others.  The closeness that she shared and engaged with her family and friends was contagious, welcoming everyone with a true sense of belonging, a bond that will last eternally.  Crystal was preceded in death by her loving grandparents: Eddie (Thelma) Autrey, and Willis (Annie Mae) Vaughn, Sr.; and, uncles, Eddie Autrey, Jr. and Samuel Bennett.

Crystal leaves to cherish sweet and loving memories of her: three beautiful children, Andrew, Ayden, and Heaven of Lansing, MI; her parents, Willis Vaughn, Jr. and Deborah Autrey Carter;  her brothers and sisters, Tabitha Autrey, Demond (Rashele) Autrey, Donnell Owens, Sharon Vaughn, Corie Myers, Charles Cottom, all of Lansing, MI, and Tiffany Vaughn of Atmore, AL; nieces and nephews, Moni, Morgan, Madison, Jade, and Jared; great nieces and nephews, Micah, Michael, Laila, and Jayce; aunts and uncles: David Vaughn of Orlando, FL, Richard Vaughn of Detroit, MI, Theresa Vaughn, Marian Vaughn, Stanley Vaughn, Timothy Vaughn, and Vincent Autrey, all of Lansing, MI, Elishia (Willie) Franks of Mobile, AL, Barry Autrey, Rhonda (Wayne) Johnson, Brad Autrey, Paulette (William) German, and Rick Autrey, all of Atmore AL; special friends, Damany Doby of Lansing, MI, Craig Carter of Houston, TX and Michael Jones of Manhattan, New York; best friends forever, Jernel Williams and Krystal Dunbar, both of Lansing, MI, Patrice Bullard, Ashley Willis, Trina Willis, Bria Willis, all of Atmore, AL, and Brandy German of Atmore, AL; special friend and cousin, Mia Martin of Atmore, AL; and, a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
