Obituary

Clarence Alan Parks of Watertown Township died September 16, 2025 at the age of 81.

Clarence (Cap) was born April 29,1944 in Lansing, MI to Porter and Rosalyn (Morgan) Parks. He was a plumber for many years; from owning his own business to being retired from the State of Michigan as a plumbing inspector and continued to inspect for various cities, counties and townships. He was a hard worker and had a love for mechanics. Wrenching on engines and rebuilding mud trucks. He had a huge heart and was a social butterfly. He was always there to offer a helping hand or a solution, talking to anyone about anything. It didn't matter if you were family, friend or stranger. He also enjoyed hunting on the farm, going to mud bogs, truck pulls, drag races, driving fast (no speed limit for him, he had to make good time), a good joke and storytelling (what version did you get?).

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, David; sister, Marjorie; brothers in law, Clyde and Jerry; nephews, Rebel and Joshua.

Cap is survived by: his children, Barbara (Tom) Carpenter, Bethany (Bill) Mikulcik, Clarence Parks, Christopher Parks, Gina (Chris) McCaw, Jennie (Nick) Sumner, Charles Jones and Kathrine Schaeffer; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sisters, Rosemarie (Donovan) Henning, Marilyn Jenks, Sara (Richard) Hopp, Kristal (Dave) Salters; sister-in-law, Linda Parks; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

There will be services at a later date for Mr. Parks.
