Clarence Eddie Hinton was born on March 14, 1958, to the late Nathaniel and Willie Mae Hinton of Lansing, Michigan. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and loved going to church. He attended many churches in Lansing and the surrounding areas. He departed this life on Monday, December 14, 2020, at McLaren Hospital.
Eddie was the youngest of nine siblings. He attended Lansing Public Schools. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Eddie never met a stranger and would talk to anyone. He was especially fond of his friends and enjoyed spending time with them, going out to dinner, events, and just talking. He loved sports and was always excited around Super Bowl time and looked forward to the Super Bowl get-togethers. Eddie will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by: mother, Willie Mae Hinton; father, Nathaniel Hinton; sisters, Pearl Millsap and Mary Singleton; brothers, Ted Lee and Charles "Bebe" Lee; special aunt and uncle, Mattie and Moses Stokes.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: sisters, Debbie Black and Dianne (Henry) Hill of Lansing, Michigan; brothers, Yola Hinton of Lansing and Nathaniel (Alice) Hinton of Clermont, Florida; brother-in-law, Howard Singleton of Lansing, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
