Clara Mae Hudson was born on January 15, 1942 to the late Henry and Liller Mae Hudson-Smith and transcended this world on October 30, 2013. She was a life long resident of Lansing and was a member of Original Church of God Chapel. She retired from Justice In Mental Health Organization, (JIMHO). She was preceded in death by her son, Delayno R. Hudson, Sr. and her parents. Survivors include: her grandchildren, Demonte Hudson, Sr. Delayno Hudson, Jr., Delane Hudson, and Kennedy Hudson; great-grandchild, Demonte Hudson, Jr.; siblings, Dale (Joyce) Perkins, Abdul (Yasmin) Backari, Hallie Brown, Anthony Brown, Nadine Reynolds, and Diallo Brown; step-brother, Benny Brown; aunt, Johnnie Mae Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Hudson will lie in repose Tuesday, November 5, 9 am - 9 pm, at the Riley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 12:00 pm. at the Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph Street. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral.
