Charles Andrew Terrell, Jr.
, was born to the union of the late Charlie Andrew and Leola Caine Terrell in Blairstown, Louisiana on June 5, 1942.
He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and received his education from East Baton Rouge Parish Public School, then later went to serve in the United States Army.
During his journey, he traveled to Lansing, Michigan and was formerly employed at Motor Wheel. He later chose to further his education at Spring Arbor University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He was also a former employee at Hayes Wheels in Howell, Michigan until retirement.
He was a faithful member of Capitol Lodge No 8, F, and A.M., (PHA) for many years, serving as Treasurer, until his illness forced him to step aside.
He was a man of stature and known to be a very meticulous well-dressed man. As leader of his family and a role model for many others he will truly be missed.
Charles departed this life on April 5, 2016 at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by: son, Roderick Terrell and eight siblings.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lathrice Terrell of Carrollton, Texas, Charleta Beard of Lansing, Natisha Patterson of Dallas, Texas and Kimberly Beard of Detroit, Michigan; eight grandchildren; a great-grandson; sisters, Dianne Terrell of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Naomi H. Jackson of Fairfield, California, Linda (Jesse) Campbell and Rochelle Terrell all of Lansing; brothers, Donald Terrell of Traverse City, Michigan and Rochester Terrell of Lansing; aunts, Emily Marshall and Sally Robinson of Baton Rouge; and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Charles Andrew Terrell, Jr. will lie in repose Monday, April 11th, 4-7pm and Tuesday, April 12th, 1-7 pm at Riley Funeral Home, 426 W. St. Joseph Street, Lansing, Michigan. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 13th, 12pm at Fearless Faith Church
