My Life
This story is in loving memory of
Cedric Darvell Jackson, Sr.
, who was born on March 24, 1987 in Lansing, Michigan to Bobby and Shirley Jackson, Sr. He was the eighth child of nine siblings. Cedric was preceded in death by three brother, Anthony Jackson, Shawndale Gardner and Eric Jackson; sister, Tamara Jackson; grandparents, George Whitfield, James and Clementine Jackson and Aralelia Thomas; several aunts and uncles.
Cedric
was vocally gifted and sang with a rap group called "The 4 Shorties." He was very athletic in and out of school. He graduated from Everett High School in 2006 and attended Lansing Community College. Cedric worked at Meijer Warehouse, PDC Warehouse and he was a dog breeder. He accepted the Lord in his life at a young age and attend Reachout Christian Center Church.
I am glad that God looks at the heart of man because Cedric had an extra big heart. He specially loved kids and shared his time with the fatherless. He enjoyed seeing his boys play football and the precious moments of being with his family and his children.
Cedric
departed this early life on Saturday morning, April 29, 2017. He leaves to cherish his memory: on daughter, Ahniya Jackson; six sons, Christopher, Cedric II, Cashmir Jackson, Camryn Strunk, Cavion and Cajmal Jackson; his parents, Bobby and Shirley Jackson, Sr.; one sister, Pamela Miller; three brothers, Bobby (Cya) Jackson II, Adrain (Helen) Jackson and Darius Jackson; four god-sisters, Renee Franklin, Camona Richardson, Donesha Brown and Kenai Patterson; two god-brothers, Martwan James and Marwan Handsome; 21 nephews; 12 nieces; three great nephews; three great nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousin and friends.
There will be Memorial service held for
Mr. Cedric Darvell Jackson, Sr.
on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Reachout Christian Center Church, 5628 Wise Road, Lansing, Michigan.
