Carolyn Ann "Carol" Kilvington, was born Carolyn Ann Markcum on July 6, 1947 in Etowah, Arkansas to John Curtis and Ruby Bernice.  At a young age, Carolyn's family moved to Michigan, where she was raised by her father and step-mother, Cecile May Corine. Carolyn graduated from Brighton High School and continued her higher learning through Lansing Community College and various specialized professional training.  She was employed at St. Lawrence/Sparrow Hospital for over 35 years. Carolyn lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: playing games, laughing, reading, and her many pets and the love of her friends and family.

Carolyn Kilvington at age70, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Sunday, November 5, 2017. Carolyn is preceded in death by parents, John and Cecile Markcum and Ruby Hurst.

She is survived by: her three children, Theresa, Louis and Christopher; brothers, Curtis (Vicki), Allen (Janice) and Billy (Debbie); half-siblings, Tillman, Raymond, Barbara, Wilma and Geretta; five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.

Carolyn's memorial will be held at the hour of 11:00 am on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Webberville United Methodist Church, 4215 Holt Road, Webberville, Michigan 48897.
