Carol Ann Dixon was born on January 25, 1939 in Boston, MA, the seventh child of John and Mildred (Price) Kersey. She and her children relocated to Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1966.

Carol was a pre-school teacher for several years and then worked at Taylor Rental in Benton Harbor as a wedding consultant. She had a passion for reading and her flower gardens were enjoyed by many. She loved crossword puzzles. She also loved the beach and her children have many fond memories of the family outings to Lake

Michigan. But most of all, Carol was a devoted mother. Carol also loved people and loved to help them. All the children in the neighborhood viewed Carol's home as their own.

Carol Dixon departed this life on August 27, 2017 in Los Angeles, CA. Carol was preceded in death by: her parents, her six sisters, and her sons Michael King and Corey Dixon.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Michelle (Raymond) Black of Lansing, MI, Lisa Arinwine of El Segundo, CA, Darin King of El Segundo, CA, Timothy (Joyce) Dixon of Kalamazoo, MI; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
