Canda Jean Anthony was born April 17, 1960 in Lansing, Michigan to James Anthony and Alois Schultz. She lived most of her life at Narrow Lake in Springport, Michigan.

Canda was a factory worker until she was injured over 30 years ago. She lived at Narrow Lake with her mother, Alois, and took care of her until her passing, at the age of 92 in 2018.

Ms. Anthony loved her dogs: Frieda, Buster, Precious and Hopey. She worked hard on a limited income caring for her home and property and was very generous with what she had.

She leaves behind, her friends at Narrow Lake: Virginia, Evonne, Bob and Kim, MaryLous, Terry, Diane, Jackie, Debbie, and Stacey; brothers, Jim and Bill; sister, Mariann; stepbrothers, Danny (Kathy) and Bruce; as well as a host of other family members.

The family would like to thank Pastor Janet Schaffer for her care and prayers, Sparrow ICU for their medical expertise as Canda passes due to complications from pancreatic stage 4 cancer. We also thank Riley Funeral Home for their dedication to care.
