Calvin E. Sturdivant was born July 20, 1924 in Joiner, Arkansas and passed away peacefully on June 24, 2013. He was a retiree of GM (38 years), and a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory: his wife of 57 years: Irene; 4 children: Derrick, Bryan, Karen, and Anita (Wesley); 3 grandchildren; 5 sisters; 1 brother; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Sturdivant will lie in repose on Friday June 28, 12-9 pm at Riley Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday June 29, 10:30 am at Friendship Baptist Church, 2912 Pleasant Grove Rd., Lansing, MI with the family receiving friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
