Brion Joseph Traill
was born on September 2, 1961, in Lansing, Michigan to Frederick and Nancy (Wannebo) Traill.
He graduated from Sexton High School. In 1987, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University (LSU) and subsequently worked in Louisiana where he learned to love Creole and Cajun cooking, Zydeco music, and the Acadian way of life. Always enterprising and never long unemployed he sold encyclopedias, he was a millwright and a retail manager until disability forced his retirement. He had many interests including his 1966 Plymouth, guitar playing, pets, friends, and church.
Brion went to be with his Lord on March 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Traill.
He is survived by: his mother, Nancy Traill; father, Frederick Traill (Virginia); sister, Kimberly Stephens (Dan); brother, Mark Traill (Brenda); nephew, Benjamin Stephens; niece, Katie (Mark) Meyers; stepsister, Judy Ferrigan; stepbrothers, Douglas Brown (Donna) and Steve Brown (Amy); great niece, Grace Stephens; great nephews, Mark Jr., Bradley and Derek Meyers.
Brion will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Memorial service will be held by Pastor David Stephens at Life Christian Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Brion Traill's memory to the City Rescue Mission.
